Instructions and Help about Irs Form 12153 Fax Number

Hi, John McGuire here from McGuire Law Firm. In this video, I'm going to talk about how you can settle your taxes with the IRS. So, it's actually quite simple. First, you would need to be eligible for the IRS offer and compromise program. To do this, you would need to complete the appropriate financial statement, which could be Form 433-A OIC or Form 433-B OIC. Once you have filled out these forms based on your financial circumstances, you can move on to Form 656. This form outlines your personal information, the tax periods you want to settle, and the payment terms. After completing Form 656, you would submit it along with the financial statement and any other necessary attachments to the appropriate offer and compromise unit. Then, you will have to wait for their response. This is the basic process of settling your taxes with the IRS. However, there are several other important details that need to be discussed either in another video or in person. If you have any questions, please feel free to give our firm a call. Thank you very much.
